After posting the recipe for Pumpkin Spice Lattes last week, I got a comment that deeply disturbed me. Sweet Megan from A Suitcase and Stilettos sadly said she would love a latte but could not get any spice currently where she was living, to which I replied that I would gladly send her some...until she said there was no way it would work since she lives in Norway.
Of course that would just not satisfy me, so I did a little research and came up with a Pumpkin Spice recipe for her (and you)! Megan, I really hope you can get all of the spices needed for this.
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ground allspice
I highly suggest doubling, tripling or quadrupling this and storing in an airtight container. It is great for pumpkin or sweet potato pies, casseroles, custards and other desserts.
