I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was full of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. You might have thought by my post on Friday that I was being a tad bit self-centered on the activities that I had planned for the weekend. What I did not tell you was that Bryan was out of town in Colorado on a brothers' fishing trip. The majority of my time was spent lazily lounging by the pool and reading my latest book, The Shell Seekers, by Rosamund Pilcher. After living in a house that has multiple books she has written, I finally convinced myself I should read one. Enthralled and captivated are two words that I can use to sum up my thoughts on it. Deeply mesmerized, I found myself completely in another world. If you are wanting a quick read, this is not the book for you. I was so drawn to it that I could not skip a single word. After I finished it I had to compose myself and come back to the real world.
Upon finding a couple of boxed DVD sets, I knew how my evenings would be spent. Each night I had an Audrey Hebpurn movie marathon. Last night, as I browsed online for some movie images, I found the most fabulous site devoted to Audrey Hepburn. The images that are on it are amazing! I have never seen so many photos of her-they are beyond words! Click here to see the site. If you are fan, be sure to go all the way to the last page-there are some really good ones at the end.

When I think of glamour she Audrey is the 1st thing that comes to mind. She just has a grace about her that will never be multiplied. I was Audrey for Halloween one year and had the best time walking around saying “daaaling” to everyone. Love the profile picture of her! I’m off to see more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the link.
Oh and LOVE you fall faves!! My summer flowers are on their last leg. I think I need to face the facts ad chunk them.

She is just so gorgeous! Every year during Christmas break my sister and I have an Audrey movie day... we stay in our pajamas all day and watch every movie of hers that we own. I look forward to it all year!
