Take a Seat

While Skyping with my parents earlier, my father mentioned that he was a tad concerned about my obsession with pink and green (I have on a pink and green tunic). I know he was only kidding and making a jab back at me since I made a similar comment in an email to him about orange things that he and my mother have been purchasing on recent travels. When Bryan and I were first dating we somehow had a conversation about the color pink. I blatantly told him that I was NOT a pink girl. I recently retracted that statement. In spite of the retraction, I have never said that pink is my favorite color. I do not and probably will not decorate with pink (unless it is in a little girl's room). But, I do love pink things. As for green, I am very much a green girl. I love to decorate with green. When I was a young girl, I had my room painted a hunter green--I am probably the only girl on earth who has ever made that request. In the sixth grade my teacher wore green jeans. I was obsessed with them and never failed to mention how much I liked them whenever the jeans were worn. Not to worry, I will probably never paint another room hunter green--the shades I like are a bit different now, but I do admit that green is my favorite color. For today's Pink and Green Thursday post, please pull up a seat and enjoy the pictures.

  6. When I was little I loved pink, then I stopped liking it for the longest time, and recently I'm in love with it again...especially in interiors that look like these! It can be so classy. Of course, I love green, so that just adds all the more to the loveliness!
