A Little Chat

Grab a cup of something delicious and let's have a little chat.

First of all, have you seen all of the mouth-watering fall recipes that have been popping up all over pinterest? Good heavens, I cannot quit re-pinning them. Hence why I have over 2,000 pins. {follow me here} Will you just look at these pumpkin scones? They are on my list of things to bake within the next week to celebrate the fall season.

And while you're at it, look at these sweet treats. Come on, who doesn't like dark chocolate and caramel?

Before the move I almost purchased a jacket similar to this one. I am still kicking myself. Why, oh why, did I not get it?

This past week I have finally broken them out, and I am head over heels booties about booties this fall.

And last, but not least, I cannot stress how important it is to take care of your skin. Moving to a much dryer climate has made my already dry skin parched. You won't believe me when I say it, but I drank close to 100 ounces of water yesterday. I read a wonderful article by Shopping's My Cardio all about serums and it could not have come at a more perfect time. I'm adding two of her suggestions to my beauty product list. {Read the post here.}

*After doing a little research about the Nude serum, I found that lots of reviews have said the company was recently bought out and the product is not at all the same.

It's getting closer to the weekend!

  1. Water, water, water....I drink it constantly! Is it strange that I can't bring myself to wear booties? I think it's because most people down here never wear them. I rarely see them (we're all flip flops all year long...oops, did I say that I show my toes in winter out loud? :-)
    That jacket is to die for!

  2. I've been wanting to add a serum to my routine recently. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of that blog!

  3. Can't wait to hear all about which serums you choose and how they work. I am a big fan of borrowing my mom's face lotions, serums, and potions as well as some old fashioned vaseline. :)
