Leopard Booties

You know how I adore leopard, so when I saw people sporting leopard booties they instantly went on my wish list. My closet already has a variety of leopard shoes--satin wedges, sky high heels and comfy flip-flops--leopard booties are not among them.

Lately all I've been wearing are skinny jeans, which leaves all of my boot cut jeans lying folded in my closet and not getting worn. On one of my new favorite blogs, Emily Jackson shows the perfect way to wear booties with boot cut jeans. The can be so versatile and worn with skinnies or wider-legged jeans.

If you Google or type "leopard booties" into Pinterest you will get a million different options. I think my personal favorites are the flatter booties or the ones with a slight wedge, which makes them much easier to wear all day long. Here are a few of my top picks at different price ranges.

I See Spots

Spots are all over our house right now! I'm such a sucker for animal prints, loving leopard the most. From bows, to stockings, to platters and pictures on the wall, I don't think there is a room in the house that doesn't have some sort of festive Christmas leopard item.

A little leopard was even snuck into the mantle at my parents' house that I put together last week. Good thing my sweet hubby trusts my decorating skills, right? Bless his sweet heart!

Wild Thing

One thing I have enjoyed most about switching from summer clothes to fall clothes is that I have found lots of animal print clothing.

1. Scarves, scarves, scarves.

 2. These Kate Spade pumps are some of my favorite shoes that I own. I have never carried the clutch, but I plan to use it very soon.

3. I probably won't be breaking this out in the next couple of weeks, but I did spy a leopard print jacket peeking out among my cold-weather clothes.
