It's Fall

The time for fuzzy sweaters, hot cups of steaming coffee and warm pumpkin bread is finally here...it's fall! It is amazing to be in a place that is actually feeling like fall when it is supposed to, as opposed to the south where it is still steaming hot. My neighbor has her fall wreath on her door and a carved pumpkin by the door. On my list to get this week are mums for our front deck. Yesterday it was rainy, but on the tops of the mountains at some of the resorts the first snow fell. Hello, colder weather.

Two nights ago, Bryan decided to drive home a different way from work--up through the mountains and winding roads. I was slightly annoyed when he showed up at the door two hours later, but was quick to forgive when I saw the pictures he had stopped to take along the way. On our to-do list this weekend: go see these beautiful fall colors before they disappear.

  1. Oh my goodness! Those pictures are beautiful! They look like they are from a magazine! I'm getting jealous of your weather! I live in Louisiana and right now the lows are in the 80s. :(

  2. Lucky!!! I wish Texas actually had a fall. It's been crazy hot here still. I was in shorts yesterday. I'm dying to wear my fall boots. I'll just have to live through you! Ha.
