Guest Room Goodies

When I first saw this list of items for a cozy guest room I knew that I would have to do some sort of post to go along with it. I don't know about you, but I want guests in my home to feel special and pampered.

After looking over this list, I came up with a few of my own personal favorites that I feel are "musts" to have for guests. Fresh flowers in a vase add such wonderful cheer to any room--I always try to keep them in my house, whether or not guests are visiting. Everyone always has some sort of jewelry or change and needs a place to put it, thus I keep a bowl or tray on the dresser or a nightstand close to the bed. Lollia has the most amazing lotion and smells, so I try to keep it stocked in as an extra little treat, too. What do you try to keep on hand for guests when they visit?

  5. Love this. I saw that on Pinterst and can't wait to have a house of my own with a guest room. It will be a cozy, comfy get away space that no one will ever want to leave :) Fresh flowers are always nice and for sure a must.

  7. This makes me think of staying at Elaine's where she had that basket of "missing bathroom items" - in case we forgot something! After I saw her stuff, I knew I needed to create a "kit" of my own.

  8. I also make sure I have extra hangers out, which seems so obvious but I need to consistently remember to have some set out. ;) Love those tissue covers.

  9. Used your ideas for my guest this past weekend. I put fresh flowers in her room. I also put a small bowl bedside with hand lotion, lip moisturizer, gum and a lint roller (I have a dog that sheds). Stacie xo
